Skittles is played with an even number of players ranging from two to 24. The players roll or throw a ball or disc toward the nine skittles at the end of an alley and score a point for each one they knock down. The player with the highest score at the end of the three chalks wins the match. Skittles are objects that a player will attempt to strike down with either a ball or the cheese. There are nine skittles in a frame and they are normally made of wood. Different shapes and sizes can be used.
