If there is a tie for the final place(s) for the next round, all tying competitors progress to the next round. In the case of any tie at the end of the competition, competitors’ second-best jumps will be decisive. If there is still a tie then it is the third-best jump that counts and so on. If this process is unable to determine a winner for first place in the competition, there will be additional rounds between those tying until a winner becomes apparent. If this process is unable to determine any other positions, then those competitors will be awarded the same position.
