Bridge position

(Sport: Women's Gymnastics)

Definition

This movement involves a gymnast lying on her back with her knees bent and hands flat on the floor, close to her ears. She will then push up strongly from her hands and feet until the arms and legs are straight and she has managed to reach a fully arched bridge position.
