Backward walkover

(Sport: Women's Gymnastics)

A movement in which the gymnast pushes all of her weight onto one leg with the other stretched forward. The head is kept between the arms and the body bent backward to bring the hands to the floor. The legs are then pushed into air through the splits position to land on one leg and the other leg is pushed backward in preparation for the next move.
