Routine competition

(Sport: Synchronized Swimming)

A competition may consist of a minimum of two sections: figures, technical and free routines. There are three events: solo duet and teams. When a figure section is included each swimmer's score is carried forward to the free routine section. In technical and free routines, the scores are added together. A team may consist of at least four and not more than eight swimmers. For each swimmer less than eight, a half-point deduction is made during routines.
