Spin stop

(Sport: In-line skating)


A means of stopping without using the heel brake. The feet are positioned in a scissor stance before the skater lifts one leg and pivots around on the skating foot. The other skate is then placed on the ground with the heels together and legs bent. Both skates will now be traveling into the spin. Once the spin is completed, the skater come to a stop. The arms should be held out for balance throughout the maneuver.
