Chest pass

(Sport: Basketball)

One of the most commonly used passes. The ball is held between the finger pads, with the thumbs meeting at the back of the ball. The ball is held against the chest with the elbows extending outward. The ball is then thrown in a straight line to the receiver. This can be a powerful pass, as the player is able to put their full weight into the throw.
